What Inspired CrohnsHelp.com…

As you get to know the website and join the newsletter, you’ll learn more about my personal story with Crohn’s Disease. It’s been pretty vicious to say the least.

For a brief synopsis, I have had Crohn’s for 9 years now, got it when I was only 13 years old. For the most part, it has been manageable. Granted, being young, I have not taken the best care of myself - but besides some fistula surgeries in 2001, I have been good.

Well, that is until I found some “herbal doctors” that led me astray for 2 years and pulled me off all my western medications…

January 12, 2006, I found myself bleeding uncontrollably internally in the hospital (I lost 50% of my body’s blood)!

February 3, 2006, find myself in the hospital again, this time with a huge internal abcess and more bleeding.

It was around then that I found myself in the hospital bed just thinking about the fact that this could happen to anyone with Crohn’s. And by “this” I mean the herbal doctors who completely led me astray…

It was then that I decided that when I got out of the hospital, I would launch this site and become much more active in helping fight back against Crohn’s.

If “we” don’t come together and take charge over this, then who will?

It’s with that that we launch CrohnsHelp.com…
