The Role of T-Cells in Crohn’s Disease

There is an excellent article recently published that discusses the role of T cells in Crohn’s Disease.

Well, it turns out that they are finding that those who have Crohn’s Disease (or other auto-immune diseases) actually have a LOWER T cell counts upon diagnosis.

But, as years go on, their T cell counts increase beyond those levels of a healthy person (signs that the body is trying to fight off the disease)…
