Gene Variation Linked To More Severe Crohn’s Disease…

There seems to be very interesting research that is now showing how different variations (specifically 3 variants) of a single gene (TLR 5) can affect the severity of someone’s Crohn’s Disease…(for some reason particularly amongst Ashkenazi Jews).

There was another interesting research point mentioned in this study:

“It is estimated that American Jews are three times more likely to develop Crohn’s Disease than the population as a whole.”
