More “hoopla” over Humira

Humira drug maker, Abbott continues to say that Humira is proving effective in Crohn’s patients. Considering that it is a close relative to Remicade, I suppose that would make sense.

“Of 172 patients treated with Humira every other week, 40 percent were in clinical remission at week 26, and 36 percent were in remission at week 56, Abbott said. Of the 157 patients taking Humira weekly, 46 percent achieved clinical remission at week 26, and 41 percent maintained remission at week 56.”
