Interesting News on Humira…

Humira is a rheumatoid arthiritis drug (much like Remicade was) and has lately been applying for approval as treatment of Crohn’s patients.

Today when I was at the hospital receiving my dosage of Remicade, the nurse eluded to the difference between Humira and Remicade.

A) Humira is a weekly ’self-administered’ shot
B) Humira is NOT made of Mouse antibodies as is Remicade.

That means that there would be less chance of developing a resistance to it as there is with Remicade.

Any thoughts anyone?
