Are You Getting Your Immunizations?

A great article was published recently that talks about why patients with IBD that are on immunosuppressive therapies (ex/ Remicade, Imuran, Prednisone and many more…) need (even more) to get regular immunizations.

Bottom line is that our immune systems are compromised so we are more prone to infections and other conditions that are contagious.

However, their research reported that 49% of IBD patients don’t get immunized simply because they don’t know!
